Olga’s breathtaking voice and majestic songwriting
are just two reasons why this emerging artist continues to stand out in the
music scene. Olga brings a soulful and luminous feel to the music she creates
– captivating and entrancing any audience. Her powerful vocals and beautiful
music represent an emotional honesty that is truly rare.
Although difficult to categorize Olga’s music, she has a sound reminiscent
of Mazzy Star with a touch of Fiona Apple. Olga’s music ranges from
alternative rock to folk and blues naming PJ Harvey, Cat Power, Portishead,
and Radiohead as influences.
Olga spent her childhood in various parts of the Midwest, but life would eventually
take her to Southern California. She attended UC Irvine and graduated with
a psychology degree. It was only after college when Olga experienced the passions
and pursuits that pushed her to pick up the guitar and sing. A self-taught
artist, Olga’s natural talent surfaced. It would still be a few years
however before she would play for an audience.
Olga ended up moving to San Francisco for graduate school and we're so glad
she did. We don’t know whether it was the fog on the bay or the creative
spirits she mingled with, but Olga’s songwriting truly exploded. At
a San Francisco open mic, Olga finally let her brilliant voice break through
for all to hear. She has since performed at venues all over the Bay Area including
the Great American Music Hall, 12 Galaxies, and Tongue and Groove. Her popularity
continues to grow.
